| SAMPLE OF CONTRACT A-Team Kennels_ American Pit Bull Terrier Sales Contract for Full Ownership Sex: __________ Color: __________ Registry: UKC Birth Date: __________ Sire: __________ Dam: __________ Owner: A-Team Kennels (Brian and Tina Riley) Price: $ USD The reference in this document of puppy shall be the one referred to above, the breeder/ seller shall be referred to as Brian and Tina Riley (A-Team Kennels), and the buyer shall be referred to as the new Owner (______________). Health Guarantee The puppy was sold with a veterinarians health certificate, which guarantees its’ health prior to sale, and its first set of shots. A-Team Kennels’ ensures the puppy is in the appropriate condition for selling. No puppy will be sold with medical conditions without first being disclosed and mentioned her in this contract. The new owners agree to take the puppy to a licensed veterinarian of his or her choice within 72 hours (3 days) for a health check. Should the puppy be determined to be in ill health, the cause of which is clearly attributed to the seller, the puppy may be returned, with a written diagnosis from the veterinarian, for another puppy of equal or lesser value. A-Team Kennels ________________________________________ Owners Responsibilities You as the new owner have a great responsibility to maintain your puppy’s emotional and physical well-being. Maintain a sound feeding program. Insure continued health by regular check-ups by a veterinarian. Have the puppy Micro chipped by a registered veterinarian Maintain proper immunization and keep them up to date. Proper exercise for the dog’s mental and physical well-being. Buyer must advise A-Team Kennels of any changes in address and phone number. Buyer will immediately advise A-Team Kennels if dog is sold, stolen, lost, or passed away. The breeder reserves the right to inquire about and inspect the dog’s housing and quarters. If the breeder finds the dog in an unsanitary environment or in poor health condition, the breeder has the right to take the dog back from the owner with no compensation to the owner. New owner agrees this said puppy will not be used for any illegal, inhumane or any immoral purposes. If it is determined that the new owner has or is using the said puppy in this manner, A- Team Kennels has the right to take back possession of this said puppy without any compensation to the owner. All provisions in this contract are designed to safeguard the puppy, the breed in general ( APBT), and or the community. Owner’s Terms and Conditions The new owner agrees to keep the prefix “A-Teams” in the puppy’s permanent registered name, indefinitely. You are able to have your own call name, but you must keep the puppy’s registered name. If purchasing a female, the owner must wait until the female one year old and has had two heat cycles before breeding her. The owner should also keep in mind that the female should have a resting cycle each year from being bred. The new owner also agrees that absolutely no puppies from the said dog/puppy are to be sold or given away to a pet shop, broker, or puppy mill.
